Shipping policy
We offer shipping to 48 states in the US. We are unable to deliver to Hawaii, Alaska, or Canada at this time.
All orders are shipped from our New York store. We typically process orders within 3-5 business days. Shipments are processed Monday through Wednesday, as we do not want your package sitting in a distribution facility over the weekend.
We ice-insulate all orders traveling to destination locations with temperatures above 75 degrees. We highly recommend shipping to a location where the chocolate can be delivered inside or someone will be there to receive it. If you are not there to receive the package and the chocolate is left out to melt, we are not able to refund your order.
Depending on the destination, we ship via USPS, FedEx, and UPS. In general, please allow 7-10 days from the date of your order for your chocolate to arrive.
During the holiday season, please allot more time.
If shipping to California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Idaho or Utah we only offer 2nd day and Next-day shipping options to guarantee quality of our products as they make their way across the country.
If you are not satisfied with the quality of your order upon arrival, please contact Customer Care (info@cocoacompassion.com) within (7) days of receipt for assistance with a refund or a return. We do not accept returns in most cases. However, we may offer refunds or replacements for orders that arrive severely damaged. Refunds and replacements are assessed on a case by case basis, and will not be adminsitered without photographic evidence of the damage. Initial shipping charges are not refundable.
